PewDiePie featured her in his video about gaming shortly after she reached the 50,000 mark, which was around 1 1/2 months after her debut video. Taylor's Youtube channel had reached 100,000 users in 2 weeks. Taylor ceased to produce videos, and then put them up on the internet in private. Her main reasons were technical problems, equipment issues, and also she became overwhelmed by the attention she received from her fans. Wired UK calculated that she earned $1,000 per daily on her YouTube channel in February of 2019.

Dennis Helfer, a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman are her parents. She has German, English and Swedish descendance. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler located in Alberta. The three sisters she had, Tammy, Tara and Trena were employed and resided on the farm owned by her parents. In the age of 17, a modeling scout at an agency spotted Helfer when he was waiting at the front of a line for entry into the cinema.
